Race For Life 10/07/26

Friday 10th July - Updated time to 9.00am -10.00am  

The whole school will be running together (at a chosen pace) to raise money for Cancer Research UK as part of our Race for Life event. The first group of children will set off at 9.00am. Children will be running in mixed aged groups with KS2 children supporting KS1 children. We will ensure the children take lots of breaks in shaded areas. We will also monitor how far the children run, as the weather may mean we need to reduce the total distance. The weather is forecast currently to be 22 degrees. 

We would love parents and families to come along to watch and cheer the children on as they complete their laps around our amazing school grounds. The PTA are providing a refreshment stall for parents and families.

Children will need: 

• To wear any sporty clothes with trainers into school 

• Apply sun cream 

• Wear a sun hat 

• To have a water bottle in school  

• To give £1 donation for non-school uniform to class teachers please, everything raised will be added to our Cancer Research online giving page  

• Collect sponsorship money and hand it in to the office before or on the day if possible or use our online giving page:

                                      All sponsorship fundraising will go to Cancer Research UK 

                                            Staff will be joining in! Spectators are welcome.
