Miss Yeo Exe Class

Home learning due Wednesday 29th January - to find out as many facts as you can about dolphins. Watch some video clips, look on the internet etc. It is okay if an adult helps you with some of the writing as long as you have a go at writing at least one fact. We are going to change the class text 'Dear Greenpeace' to pretend we have seen a dolphin in our school pond.

Spellings to learn by Friday 31st January

'Magic at Christmas' :)

'Magic at Christmas' :) 1

We had a lovely time visiting the Christmas trees at the church - we think our school tree is the best!

The children had a great time taking part in balanceability sessions over the last few weeks.

ongoing home learning - Please help your child to practise the words for the songs in the Christmas play.

In maths we have been learning about the part, part whole model. We used it to show how a group of objects or number can be split into parts in different ways but that the 'whole' number stays the same.

We compared numbers and groups of objects using the < = and > signs.
