home learning due in Wednesday 13th November (but not to be handed in) - pin/stick this sheet of 'tricky words' up somewhere children can access them frequently at home and work your way through them to practise reading and/or spelling. You could tick them when they know them and choose the next 2-3 to practise.

 

Spellings to learn by Friday 15th November: phase 4 tricky words - have, like, said

In maths we have been learning about the part, part whole model. We used it to show how a group of objects or number can be split into parts in different ways but that the 'whole' number stays the same.

We compared numbers and groups of objects using the < = and > signs.

Key Information

 

P.E -  Every Monday afternoon and Friday morning. 

 

Outdoor learning - every Wednesday morning with Mrs Alford. Please bring wellies to school if you have them and if you would like to bring in your own old clothes or waterproofs you are more than welcome to. 

 

Spellings - are given out every Friday with the class learning summary. Please help your child to learn these at home ready for the spelling quiz the following Friday. 

 

Home learning - Also given out with the learning summary on Fridays. These need to be handed back (or completed if it is not something to be physically handed in) by the following Wednesday.
