Please remember that P.E is every Tuesday and Friday so please make sure your child has their P.E kit.

We also have outdoor learning every Tuesday afternoon so please ensure your child remembers to bring in their wellingtons and a spare change of clothes/waterproofs .

We pretended we were in a cave to complete Stone Age art! We used mud, sticks, grass and lead!

Elfie's has been causing lots of mischeif in class this week!

We are learning about the Stone Age! In forest school we worked in groups and were hunter gatherers, searching for food to eat!

In science we have been exploring shadows. We played โ€˜Guess the shadowโ€™, looking at shadows formed by opaque, translucent and transparent materials.

29.11.19 This week we made lanterns for the lantern parade!

We have been working in teams lots this week! We played mathopoly to practice using the column method AND also edited paragraphs in groups!!

We have been learning how to play a range of Samba instruments. We have learnt that the sounds of each instrument compliment one another, particularly when exploring different rhythms.

Halloween AND non-electricity day! We wrote some amazing Halloween character profiles and completed lots of exciting science experiments!

We created a Flip-o-saurus book! We each chose a different dinosaurs head, body and tail to create our imaginative dinosaurs- really focusing upon each dinosaurs characteristics!

In outdoor learning we made a scarecrow- 'Farmer Joe!' We wrote instructions about how we made him.

To introduce our topic, 'The Big Bang', the children went to the forest school area to discover that it was VERY messy and was taped over with warning tape! Once back in the classroom the children watched a video that revealed that not one.....not two..... but THREE Brachiosaurus' had entered the forest school area over the weekend!
