Our beach trip!
This week we have been hunting for 2D and 3D shapes and partitioned 2 digit numbers in different ways.
We really enjoyed making miniature gardens in outdoor adventure time and we have also been on our barefoot walk around school.
We have been practising our measuring and finding the difference between lengths.
This week we had lots of fun at our multiskills event at the community college. We also enjoyed building habitats for wild animals in outdoor adventure time and making and testing viking longships on our pond!
This week we have enjoyed solving lots of puzzles on world maths day and wearing our number fact crowns. We have learnt about viking food and made viking honey cakes.
We have been busy going on Viking voyages, eating chinese food, learning about halves and quarters and having fun doing outdoor adventurous activities!
This week we have been making secret messages using Viking runes and learning about the stories of the Viking gods!
Spring Term- Sorry for the delay with photos we have had camera issues! We have been practising telling the time. In science we have been making weather instruments to measure rainfall and wind. In topic we have been learning about the vikings and making viking shields!
We have had lots of fun this week enjoying no-electricity day painting our lanterns and making our santa tree decorations! In Outdoor adventure time we counted in 3s, 5s and 4s using natural materials
This week in outdoor adventure time we have been hunting for living and non-living things . We have been learning about balanced diets and making healthy pizza wheels which were delicious! We loved dressed up for children in need and having our sporty spotty circuits in the hall! Thanks for all of the donations!
This week we have been learning about our senses and testing them out by predicting what we think things are without our senses and then seeing if we were right using our senses! In Outdoor adventure time we made our own Wild Things using mud and clay and other natural materials, we then used adjectives to describe them and wrote expanded noun phrases.
We have been learning about where the wild things are! We have made freeze frames of the monsters gnashing their terrible teeth, rolling their terrible eyes and showing their terrible claws!
We have been investigating our senses in forest school and using beebots to explore body parts! We have been practising putting numbers on a number line in maths.
