This week we have been working with money and have been concentrating on giving the correct change. We also took part in the Easter assembly.

Bray class wrote sentences about what they could hear, see, touch and smell outdoors. The pupils then worked in groups to create a poem.
We used arrays to practise our times tables.
We had a fantastic time at our archery session!
We enjoyed playing outdoor games and challenging each other with noughts and crosses during our outdoor learning session.
Bray Class learned about the importance of sleep and completed a Star Wars yoga session. We also took part in relaxation, whilst focusing on our breathing.

We enjoyed making Viking oatcakes on the fire. The oatcakes were even better with honey on top!
We've been using Viking runes to write our names and messages to our friends.
Our class text is 'Ask Dr K Fisher About Animals,' by Claire Llewellyn. We have been busy learning the story map and analysing the class text. We have been thinking about what we like about the book, what we dislike, questions we have and any patterns that we have noticed. We have also been summarising the problems and advice given by Dr K Fisher.
We had a great time taking part in the RSPB Big Schools' Birdwatch.

This week we have been practising our 3 times table and column addition. We really enjoyed our 'muddy maths' session! We have also been doing a lot of yoga in class.
We had a great time looking at the Christmas trees in the local church.
We thoroughly enjoyed playing conkers as part of our outdoor learning. This is one of our activities to complete before leaving South Molton Community Primary School.

Welcome to Bray Class
Bray Class enjoyed an afternoon with the South Molton Meddlers. We had a great time learning and playing different games.

Bray Class have been studying 'Meerkat Mail' by Emily Gravett. During our outdoor learning session, the pupils used clay to create their own meerkats. Using natural resources and information from the book, the pupils also had to build the perfect home for their meerkat and explain their ideas to their partners.
We had a fantastic time experimenting and extracting DNA from peas during our DNA workshop!
We celebrated the end of bike ability week by taking part in bike and scooter races. It was enjoyed by everybody.
We had a great time making dens during outdoor learning.
