To complete our Viking topic we set the classroom up as a Viking museum. We opened our doors to our parents who were able to come in and view (and take home!) all our Viking artefacts.
On the morning of Wednesday 14th March, Lyn Class performed their Viking assembly. The children (and adults too!) had put in lots of hard work and really enjoyed themselves. Please enjoy looking at the photographs. We will add the video as soon as possible.
We have had a fantastic start to the new term. We are looking forward to finding out about the Vikings.
We have begun to make our Viking longships using clay. We used our hands to shape the ship and clay tools to add the detail.
Some children have begun to create their longship sail. We have used the traditional Viking method of weaving.
Look at the concentration!!
We enjoyed our Oral Health talk. The best part was using the disclosing tablets!!!
We had great fun performing our Christmas play 'The Snowman.' Here are some pictures that were taken just before we went on for our final performance. We hope the audience enjoyed it as much as we did!
We had fun creating our self-portraits. We used pencils, oil pastels, pens and collage.
We enjoyed our sporty activities for Children in Need.
We enjoyed our fingerprinting activity.
